Gwen Stefani had an emotional moment onstage last night in West Palm Beach, Florida. As she scanned the crowd, Stefani noticed a mother with a sign, which she grabbed and read for the audience: “My son was bullied from first to fifth grade. He would come home everyday upset but he’d go to his room listen to your music and smile.”
The heartwarming story of overcoming bullies elicited Stefani to shout, “Get up here right now!” She later uploaded footage of the scene to her Facebook page and shared a selfie on Twitter with the boy and his family.

“About 3 years ago when things were hard in my life I prayed to God everyday that I could get a chance to use my gift that God gave me and make a difference in some way in this world,” Gwen wrote. “Last night this little guy was the answer to my prayers.”
